CITY drinking and dining institution Campari, in Hardware Lane, has sold to a Dubai-based investor for about $5 million.
 
The fully renovated, fully leased 41-year old bar was the jewel in a property portfolio listed for sale by restaurateur Nick Zampelis in August.
 
John H Castran director and marketing agent John Castran said 16 contracts were circulated to prospective buyers, with the property selling about half an hour after auction, over the phone.
